Ogulcan Oeztuerk, LL.M., CIPP/E, has been working as a Legal Consultant at ISiCO since November 2024. He advises in the areas of data protection and AI.
His areas of focus include establishing and implementing data protection management systems, conducting data protection audits and internal controls, and preparing and assessing data protection impact assessments.
In addition, he supports the development and implementation of data protection policies, data protection risk assessments, documentation of processing activities, incident management and the notification of personal data breaches, as well as the review and drafting of data processing agreements and the data-protection-compliant design of IT systems in line with Privacy by Design and Default.
He has experience advising companies in the areas of e-commerce, healthcare, the energy sector and insurance.
Ogulcan Öztürk completed a Master of Laws, LL.M., at the University of Bonn and a Bachelor of Laws at Marmara University in Istanbul. He also holds the CIPP/E certification and is admitted to practise law by the Istanbul Bar Association.
Before joining ISiCO, he worked, among other roles, as a Senior Compliance Analyst at an international commercial law firm, as a legal advisor at an international Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and as a Foreign Associate at a boutique law firm.
