Alina Bernhardt has been working as a Senior Consultant at ISiCO since October 2023. She advises in the areas of data protection and AI.
Her areas of focus include establishing and further developing data protection and AI management systems, conducting data protection audits and gap analyses, and creating and maintaining data protection documentation, such as records of processing activities, technical and organisational measures, or TOMs, and deletion concepts.
In addition, she supports threshold assessments, data protection impact assessments and AI risk classifications, as well as advising on personal data breaches, data subject requests and service provider management.
She has experience advising companies from various sectors, including healthcare and medical technology, e-commerce, education, energy, finance and telecommunications.
Alina Bernhardt studied law at Leipzig University and Universidade Católica Portuguesa and completed her legal traineeship at the Regional Court of Leipzig, with placements in Leipzig, Berlin and Tel Aviv.
Before joining ISiCO, she worked in research and teaching in the fields of European law, international law and public law, and at an association focused on data protection in medical research.
