Alexander Fallenstein is a fully qualified German lawyer and has been working as a Managing Consultant at ISiCO since July 2025.
He advises on data protection and AI. His areas of focus include, among others, data protection reviews of tools, drafting and reviewing data protection agreements such as data processing agreements and joint controllership agreements, creating and maintaining records of processing activities, and reviewing websites and apps, particularly with regard to privacy notices and cookies. In addition, he advises on AI requirements under the GDPR and the AI Act.
He has experience in various sectors, including, in particular, the IT sector with a focus on hosting and SaaS, mobility and media.
Alexander Fallenstein studied law at the University of Cologne, specialising in media and communications law, and completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, including a placement with the Digitalisation Unit of the City of Cologne.
Before joining ISiCO, he worked for several years at a Cologne-based law firm specialising in data protection, information security and compliance, most recently as a lawyer and Senior Associate. He also worked as a research assistant at specialised law firms and contributed as a co-author to a handbook on antitrust law.
